I have spent over a decade as a model and actor, in front of the camera, on set, in castings, and auditions.
Here’s what nobody tells you about it: most of the time, it’s not about you. It’s about performing. Shaping yourself around someone else’s vision while making it your own.
I started getting jobs where the story was different. Where someone wanted me, my energy, my presence, the way I actually am. And when a photographer who understood that gave me the right direction, everything changed. I stopped performing and started showing up. The photos were completely different. So was how I felt in them.
That’s what I build every session around. Because most people who I work with have only ever been asked to perform for the camera, smile, stand here, hold still. Nobody has ever just seen them and known how to draw out their best selves.
That’s the only thing I do. I find the version of you that’s already there, and I give you the direction to let that part of you show up.
Before stepping behind the camera, I built my career in front of it, working runway, print, and commercials, including four years as a Porsche spokesmodel.
That’s why I understand how every small adjustment can change everything about how you look in a photo. I’m not guessing. I’ve been there.
